To delete a conversation, please follow the steps below.
On Android
- Open the Hornet app and go to your Inbox.
- Open the conversation you want to delete.
- Tap the ⋮ (three-dot) icon in the upper-right corner.
- Tap Delete.
- Tap Delete again in the confirmation pop-up.
On iOS
- Open the Hornet app and go to your Inbox.
- Swipe the conversation you want to delete from right to left until the Delete option appears.
- Either tap Delete or swipe all the way to delete immediately.
On Web
- Go to hornet.com and log in.
- Go to your Inbox.
- Open the conversation you want to delete.
- Click the trash can icon in the upper-right corner of the chat.
- Confirm by clicking Yes, delete the conversation.
IMPORTANT: Deleting a conversation does not remove it for the other person’s side. They will still see the messages and photos you exchanged. Because of this, deleting a chat is best used when you simply want to clean up your own inbox. If you want to remove the conversation from both sides and stop the other person from contacting you, blocking the profile is a better choice. When you block someone, the chat becomes hidden for both of you, and neither of you will be able to view or message each other.
