If you’re not receiving alerts for new messages, follows, or other activity on Hornet, your device or browser may be blocking notifications. Please follow the steps below based on where you’re using Hornet.
On Android
- Open your phone’s Settings.
- Select Apps.
- Depending on your device’s brand and model, select All apps or Manage apps.
- Select Hornet.
- Select Notifications and allow all options.
Optional: Under Battery or Battery optimization, make sure Hornet is not restricted, as this can prevent notifications from arriving.
On iOS
- Go to the phone’s Settings.
- Select Apps and then select Hornet.
- Select Notifications.
- Tap Allow Notifications and make sure Alerts, Sounds, and Badges are enabled.
On Web
The following steps are specific to Google Chrome:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon on the upper right corner of your screen.
- Select Settings.
- On the left-side menu, click Privacy and security.
- Select Site Settings and then Notifications.
- Click the Add button on the Allowed to send notifications section.
- Type https://hornet.com and confirm by clicking on Add.
