The blue checkmark on Hornet shows that your profile is authentic and that your photos truly belong to you. Getting a Profile Verification helps other users trust that you’re a real person, not using someone else’s pictures.
To request the blue checkmark, please follow the steps below.
- Open the Hornet app and go to your Profile.
- Tap the grey checkmark next to your display name or tap Get Verified.
- Read the instructions carefully and copy the pose exactly
- If prompted, grant Hornet access to your camera.
- Take a selfie where your face is clearly visible.
- Tap Submit.
Once submitted, our team will compare your selfie with the photos on your profile. Most requests are reviewed within 24 hours, and if approved, the blue checkmark will automatically be added to your profile.
Your verification request may be rejected for one or more of the following reasons:
- Your selfie does not match the person in your profile photos.
- The required pose was not followed.
- Your face is blocked, covered, or not clearly visible.
- The photo is too dark, blurry, or of low quality.
- There are no profile photos where your face is visible for comparison.
If you remove all public photos showing your face, your verification badge will be removed. You can always restore it by adding clear photos of yourself and submitting a new verification request.
