We’re sorry to hear that Hornet is crashing on your Android device. With thousands of Android models released over the years, performance can vary—especially on older devices. Crashes are often caused by low memory or temporary files that slow the device down.
Please try the steps below to improve performance.
Clear Hornet’s data and cache
- Open your phone’s Settings
- Select Apps
- Select All apps or, depending on your device, Manage apps
- Select Hornet and then Storage
- Tap Force stop or, depending on your device, Clear data
- Choose both the Clear cache and Clear all data options
- Confirm
Clear your device’s cache
You can repeat the steps above for other apps on your device, or use a trusted cleaner app of your choice to remove temporary files.
If crashes continue
Please contact us and include the following information so we can investigate:
- When do the crashes happen?
- Your phone model
- Your Android version
- Your Hornet version
We’ll do our best to help you.
Please note that on some older Android devices, upgrading to a newer device may be the only long-term solution.
