Twitter Trend Alert: Who’s Your Animated Doppelganger?
The latest Twitter trend is asking users to uncover their animated doppelganger, either in physical appearance or personality. The origins of this trend seem to go all the way back to 2015, when Tumblr user baberallafox posted the very first “me vs. animated me” photoset. But five years later it’s taken off again, with users comparing themselves to Disney princesses, ’90s cartoons and anime legends.
Of course, some of the most creative versions of the animated doppelganger trend come from the LGBTQ community.

Codename: Kids Next Door is an adorable early 2000s Cartoon Network show about a group of 10-year-old kids who also happen to be part of a worldwide espionage-style organization called the Kids Next Door.

Ghost hunters, ghost powers, Ghost Portal. Danny Phantom had one of the coolest premises (and some of the greatest characters) of the early 2000s.

Odin Sphere is a Playstation 2 game launched in 2007. The game is set on the fictional continent of Erion and tells the story of five different protagonists, Velvet being one of them.
