Chuck Tingle, the Author Behind Those Ridiculous ‘Pounded in the Butt’ Books, Now Has a Podcast
Chuck Tingle (pictured at left above) — the author of such erotic titles as Space Raptor Butt Invasion, My Ass Is Haunted By The Gay Unicorn Colonel and Domald Tromp Pounded in the Butt by the Handsome Russian T-Rex Who Also Peed on His Butt and then Blackmailed Him with the Videos of His Butt Getting Peed On — will soon have his own podcast. The Chuck Tingle podcast will unsurprisingly be titled Pounded in the Butt by My Own Podcast.
The podcast will premiere on Mar. 14, 2018 and will feature “celebrity guests performing tinglers (Tingle’s name for his short erotic fiction). They’ll be hosted by Dr. Chuck Tingle himself and will be released by Night Vale Presents, the company behind Welcome to Night Vale, the popular absurdist horror podcast hosted by gay, HIV-positive activist Cecil Baldwin.
Tingle announced the coming of his podcast in “A Special Valentine’s Day Message” in which he spoke in the voice of a slightly warped cowboy. In the announcement, he mentioned his wife Barbara (who is frozen at the bottom of the lake … “and sometimes the walls”) and a ghost who once tried to stab him.
Tingle’s podcast should make for interesting fodder considering that his publicly available biography includes a fake suburban nemesis on Twitter, a possibly non-existent son named Jon and a social media campaign to help him have all of his skin removed.
Tingle’s work also has a political dimension. In 2016, he used his Hugo Award nomination to undermine anti-feminists attempting to hijack the science-fiction awards.
In January 2017, he published a website parody of the far-right website Breitbart called Buttbart which included fundraising links to groups like the women’s reproductive health group Planned Parenthood and the U.S. advocacy group the American Civil Liberties Union.
